[TVARC] NA QSO Party

Weekends are normally family time and It's hard to get other stuff squeezed
in. Managed a few hours. I have not done this contest for years along with
most other contests. I found the speed to be a bit excessive and had trouble
picking up the names. So, just hunt and pounce. Guess I'm slowing down a
bit.

I used my flagpole for all but 80m. Lots of activity. Signals not very
strong. Sending at about 25wpm. One thing that I noticed: I had trouble with
their names but they didn't have trouble with mine. Lots of good operators
or perhaps better software with "history files" giving name and location.

I use N3MFJ logs rather than N3MM for their simplicity and ease of
operating. N3MM provides more then I need or care to have. Like a fancy car
in the hands of a guy who only just learned to ride a bike.
