[TVARC] Florida QSO Party (Contest): This Weekend!

Hi Members of TVARC's Maillist,

At TVARC's recent meeting on April 19th, Pete (K2PS) gave you a heads-up
about the upcoming "Florida QSO Party" (contest) that will be held this
weekend (April 28 & 29, 2018).  As Pete pointed out this is a contest where
everybody wants to contact stations in Florida! Ham operators will be on
the prowl to get contacts with as many different Florida stations in as
many different Florida counties as possible.

So, plan on joining in the fun by getting on the airwaves (ham HF bands
only) during this year's Florida QSO Party.  Be aware that this contest
consists of two, separate 10-hour sessions (one starting on Saturday at
Noon; the other kicking-off on Sunday morning at 8 a.m. EDT.  This contest
is limited to the ham HF bands only (NO 160 or 80 meters, WARC bands, or
VHF bands).
