[TVARC] International Amateur Radio Day - April 18

Hi Members of TVARC's Maillist,

Be sure to get on-the-air on April 18 to celebrate "International Amateur
Radio Day."  This yearly event fostered by the IARU celebrates the founding
of the IARU and the worldwide growth and appeal of our hobby.

So, every April 18th, radio amateurs worldwide take to the airwaves in
celebration of World Amateur Radio Day. It was on this day in 1925 that the
International Amateur Radio Union was formed in Paris.
