I was fortunate to spend about 20 hours in the contest since we did not
have grandparent duty until Saturday evening.  I found 40 and 80 to be
very good Friday night, making my S&P operation more enjoyable. 
Conditions were also good on 15 and 20 during the day Saturday.  I
managed to sneak away from the grandkids for a few hours Sunday; however,
the bands were awful.  I could barely hear the European big guns although
the few I did work could copy me.  (It pays to have an aluminum forest
sometimes.)  I couldn't hear a peep on 10 meters and, judging from the
few spots, neither could anyone else.  Anyway, I did manage about 70 more
Qs than last year when propagation was a little better.
