I was watching the DXspider yesterday. Normally a great way to check band
openings.
TO2SP belongs to a bunch of guys from Poland, except for K1CC, Richard
Assarabowski. Must be a Family Member?
Apparently they must do DXpeditions for a living.
They are all over the place. And now are in St Barts for the CQWW contest.
And, apparently for a bit of warm rays. Sort---a like us.
My DX spider thing-ee said they were in Kosovo. Now, at the present time
Kosove isn't worth the effort. DXCC says so. But, I just thought I would try
anyway.
They were really loud here on 30. And begging. And I couldn't resist. I
worked them. I checked QRZ. And now "I now the rest of the story".
I already knew that TO2SP was who they were but just zeroed in on the
location according to DXSpider.
St Barts is in my "The Villages" log for 40, 20, 17 and 10 and now 30. To
me worth something after all. Slot hunting.
Bottom line though ----- "Fake news". Good lesson for me. What someone says
Is - is not always what it is.
