[TVARC] 2017 ARRL November Sweepstakes Contest SSB - THIS WEEKEND!

Hi Members of TVARC's Maillist,

The ARRL's "November Sweepstakes Contest SSB" is this weeking (Nov. 18-19,
2017 EST).  So, fire-up your HF rigs and get ready for it (read the rules,
practice using your logging program for this specific contest, etc.).  Some
of the highlights from this contest's rules are provided below.

*2017 ARRL November Sweepstakes Contest SSB*

Objective: For stations in the United States and Canada (including
territories and possessions)
to exchange QSO information with as many other US and Canadian stations as
possible
on 160, 80, 40, 20, 15 and 10 meter bands.

2. Date and Contest Period:
Phone: Third full weekend in November (November 18-20, 2017).
Contest Period: Begins 2100 UTC Saturday and runs through 0259 UTC Monday.

CATEGORIES

You'll need to read the contest's rules to determine your CATEGORY
(for example, "Single Operator Unassisted Low Power" or SO (U) LP).

EXCHANGE

As mentioned in my club presentation ("Contesting 101"), Sweepstakes
has a lengthy, tongue-twisting exchange as shown here:
