[TVARC] F2F contacts from home.

Bob is correct, of course.  The applicable FD rule is as follows:

“
6. Miscellaneous Rules:  6.1. A person may not contact for QSO credit any station from which they also participate.

My interpretation of the rule (FWIW) is that those of you who participated in the K4VRC/K2DM Field Day exercise
cannot claim contacts that you made with K4VRC or K2DM from home for credit.  It is not clear to me whether
K4VRC/K2DM needs to remove those contacts from our logs.  I may go back and delete them from our FD logs.

Either way, making such contacts provided FUN for both the ops in the trailer and the ops at home, and that is the
objective for TVARC FD under my stewardship.  Just don’t submit logs that contain the invalid contacts.

However, this is a great learning exercise relative to Tony’s (N8SK) fine presentation to the club on contesting.  I think
he might have mentioned ‘read the rules’ once or twice.

Operators who operated K4VRC cannot work K4VRC from their home calls.  The contacts do not count under Field Day rules.  You can operate from your home station and K4VRC separately as long as don't work each other.
