[TVARC] microphone

I have had several people talk to me about microphone issues. Outside of
broken wires at the connector, next major problem is the element. I
recently purchased a Radio Shack electret element on eBay for $4.99,
including shipping. If I wired it per the directions, it had a lot of RF in
the audio. but by eliminating the cap that they said to put in, and putting
in two 0.01 RF bypass caps, I got great reports.

So, $4.99 to get a non operational mic working again, not a bad deal. If
