[TVARC] Announcing the TVARC Worked All States List

At the General Meeting last night, the establishment of the TVARC Worked All
States List was announced.

 

Like the DXCC Standings List, we encourage you to get on the air and attempt
to work all the 50 US States.  A few simple rules:

 

.         Begins on August 1, 2017

.         States may be worked on any band/mode

.         Must be worked from within the confines of The Villages

.         Honor system - no QSLs or confirmations are required - just work
'em!

.         Send your counts directly to me at psk2ps at gmail.com

 

Some of our members indicated the desire to participate using Internet-based
modes, such as D-Star or Echolink.  We encourage this, and will post totals
worked on these modes, but please do not comingle any such contacts with
fully RF-based QSOs.  If you wish to employ both RF and Internet-based
modes, then you may submit two separate entries, one in each category.   

 

Report your totals up to one week prior to each General Meeting, so that
they can be included in the slide presentation.  I will try and remind you,
via the reflector, to send your latest counts, but just for the first few
months.  After that you'll be on your own.  And when you get to 45 or more,
include the list of which states you're still missing.
