[TVARC] Rain and loud noises

As someone who has worn hearing aids for nearly 50 years, a word of
advice to the young for a lifelong career: specialize in hearing aid
design or sales.  The multi-page, color ads in the Daily Sun attest to
this.  (Today's kids will have an incentive to do so as earbuds pound the
ear with >100 dBa of sound.)
