The following announcement is from the website of The Villages Astronomy
Club......

Phil Hubek and I gave the presentation on Search for Extraterrestrial
Intelligence (SETI) to TVARC last year and he was given a TVARC coffee
cup.  Phil was not a ham.  Phil had prostate surgery at Ocala and chemo
treatments but never recovered.

IT IS WITH SAD HEARTS THAT WE ANNOUNCE THE PASSING OF PHIL HUBEK, A
WONDERFUL PERSON AND AVID ASTRONOMER.

PHIL WILL BE GREATLY MISSED BY HIS FRIENDS AND FELLOW CLUB MEMBERS.
