Here is the latest on Karl.

Hi all, heard from Patty today that Karl woke up yesterday and began talking
some. Further, he understood when told where he was and why, (but the memory
fades). He is able to follow some commands, even on the left side a bit.
Today, he was due to have a shunt put in to drain excess fluid from his
brain, which should result in further improvement.

 

AND, he will probably be transferred tomorrow or Wednesday to Kindred
Hospital in Ocala. Kindred is on the 5th floor inside Munroe Hospital. Once
settled in there, he'll be able to have visitors!
