Interesting that the band only opened for a few minutes yesterday in New York and the only stations worked in the band opening were Villagers.  So much for limided antennas, lol.Bob K2TV

Well folks, 10M "ain’t what it used to be”. For us old timers going back a few years (to 1950’s), this is like eliminating the band altogether!!But no worry, it too ‘Shall Return”!!I did not do as much operating as anticipated - mostly due to Wx and personal business (like going to Panera’s for coffee in the morning).Operated about 2 ½ hrs and got the following (so far):All CWQSO’s -      26States -        6DX -             2 (South America)
Certainly not impressive but fun working it.Obviously, many of the QSO’s were FL and included K2PS, K2DM, N0SMX. There is a rumor going around that 10M is going to open up to all continents tomorrow (started by K2PS, I think). I can’t wait. Only problem, Pete will not say when!!!!By the way, nice going Pete and Rich.
