[TVARC] My radio problem

Hi Again,
During the attempted installation of flDigi I managed to select some setting on my Macintosh that drove the radio crazy. A loud howl or whistle across all bands even when I removed the USB cable. I removed the antenna and the noise was still evident at high volume levels. I wondered if it was "in the wind" or in the radio. After a reset to factory settings the noise went away. 
All of this is because I want to do digital on my Macintosh and Icom 7300. Apparently a very difficult combination.
