[TVARC] K2PS NAQP SSB and SARTG RTTY

Well, with the XYL away for a few days, I didn't need any excuses to play
radio.  And just needing 6 more for my TVARC WAS, the NAQP SSB Contest
seemed like a great idea.  And it was, until Frank, KA1AF, called me to say
that my audio was distorted.  I tried turning down the gain, turning off the
compressor, changing bands, changing microphones, rebooting the radio, and
giving it a stern talking to.  To no avail.  Thanks to Frank.I think!

 

But all was not lost.  There was an RTTY contest going on!  So I started up
a new log and made a few Qs calling CQ until I caught a whiff of burning
power supply.  Switched to Search and Pounce mode, and made a few more until
I heard thunder.  I guess radio was not meant to be this weekend.  Maybe
I'll go to a car show.not!
