The list has been through this debate before, and I'm going to put a 
stop to it right now.

Marcel does not post these informational pieces often, and has generally 
been quite selective in what he does post. Many list members (including 
myself) find them highly informative, especially since they almost 
invariably have to do in one way or another with what we're here for, 
monitoring trunked systems. The complaints invariably come from a few 
people who don't appreciate a glimpse of the bigger picture.

So, if you don't like reading these occasional posts from Marcel, simply 
delete them and move on to the next message.
