Well, I wish you the best of luck. CLEMIS which is a large mobile data and
computer network that Oakland County has set up is growing all the time, and
a lot of people are moving to it, and trying it out and learning about it,
but it seems like the Open Sky system is staying in Oakland County for now,
but agencies that previously were not on the old system in Oakland County
will be joining the new system. The city that I think is making the best
decision with this is Southfield, and they are staying UHF conventional. I
don't know of any other users in counties around Oakland County that will be
going to this system, but I really have a bad feeling about what is going on
with Oakland County, and the state of Pennsylvania, and now your city. Does
anyone have any more information on how Pennsylvania is doing or is there
still a gag order? In talking to a friend of mine he thinks that they are
trying to push a nation wide M/Acomm Open Sky system, but I don't know.
