Although I have programmed some Uniden PRO-94s (types A and B) for
friends, I only have a BC245XLT. Assuming that the answer is the same
for all Unidens, I appreciate the problem you will have trying to switch
banks without being able to see the screen!
The TrunkTracker Unidens are set up so that you can only change
something when the screen is displaying that which you want to change.
In other words, when you are scanning banks 1 and 3 only, and the
scanner is not stopped on any transmission, touching the "5" button will
add Bank 5 to the rotation being scanned, or touching the "3" button
will remove Bank 3.
However, during the moments when scanning a trunked bank, such as Bank 1
in our example, with the screen set to display the trunking talkgroup
list numbers and when the talkgroup list numbers are actually displayed,
touching a number button will add or delete a talkgroup list, not a bank!
Careful screen watching and nimble fingers are required to change my
BC245XLT. Your mileage, with the PRO-94, may vary.
