[TrunkCom] 250D volume control

Hi everyone:

To all owners of the Bearcat 250D, unless you like waiting for
replacement parts, DO NOT BREAK THE VOLUME CONTROL!  Mine snapped off on
a recent trip, so I called Uniden to order a replacement.  The volume
control is on back order and is not expected to be in stock until the end
of the year!  I can't help but wonder if they've been getting a lot of
orders and/or repair jobs for this control, which is a stupid design for
a portable scanner.  Anything that sticks out that much is a prime target
for getting broken!

I guess if I'm going to get the new 296D I'd better order a spare control
at the same time!
