I wish somebody would put a bug in their ear to spend an extra $25 to
$50 and put in a voice synthesizer to read the display so that we
blind scanner enthusiasts could get more out of these nifty new
scanners than we can at the moment with the software that exists.  Not
all of us have, or carry around with us, computers to handle this
task, so having the ability to use the unit stand-alone would be a
real big deal for us.
