[TrunkCom] *.SPG FILES

Can somebody  please explain, to me, what a *.spg file is supposed to be?
Also what do the letters spg mean?  Is that some type of abbreviation.
I know that *doc files are Word files, *.txt are text files, *xls are
excel files but I am lost as to what *.spg means.
