In the 780xlt, 250D, and 785D, the scanner can track a Motorola trunked
system using only the control channels. Thus, you can either enter all
of the system frequencies, or go into Control-Channel only mode and track
the system using just the control channels.

Its works just like the "regular" trunking mode, allowing you to track
activity on trunked systems.

There is no comparison between the control-channel only mode and the
PRO-92's displaying talkgroups while parked on the control channel. They
are two different functions altogether.
