[TrunkCom] identifiable Talk Group IDS on Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan TRS

Hi everyone.  Here are some talk groups ind information on the Grosse
Pointe Farms, TRS here.  I just identified these this afternoon.
Update on 10/30/02
The following are talk group IDS, that I have been abe to identify on the
Grosse Pointe Farms, Michigan Astro TRS.  The way the system is set up is
that it has one individual talk group for police and fire dispatch.
Mainly  the police dispatch talk group is used for major runs, and
possible problemed trafic stops.  Each of the Grosse Piontes, and Harper
Woods has their own LEIN channel.  Depending on which city you are at you
will have a different talk group in A2 of the portables and mobiles, then
that department's talk group will show up a second time in their
respective radios for general reference from other departments.  For
Example a Grosse Pointe Shores radio will have their LEIN channel as A2 in
every radio, but it will show up again as A5 in the Grosse Pointe Shores
Radio, and A5 would be the talk group that a Grosse Pointe Woods radio
would select for whatever reason that they would want to do anything on
the Grosse Pointe Shores LEIN channel.  Each city has access to each
other's LEIN DB and special events chanel should more then one city be
involved with something.Each city has its own DB  talk group and special
events talk group, with common talk groups for SWAT and DB.
	Eastland Mall in Harper Woods does have a couple of XTS-3000's for
use on the system but they are still using 464.925, & 464.6375 for mall
security operations.  Recently, patches have been added for MEPS, 155.865
and Intercity Point to Point, 155.370.There has been talk about the board
of education using some talk groups on the system for maintenance, and
some special operations and events, but nothing is final.  There are also
talk groups for the DPWs of Grosse Pointe Shores, Grosse Pointe Woods, &
Grosse Pointe Farms.  Additionally the parks and rec departments for
Grosse Pionte Farms, Woods, and Shores also have talk groups on the system
that are not very active.  Harper Woods DPW, and the tornado sirens for
the area are still operated on 158.760.  The city of Grosse Pointe is
using some of their old VHF radios for DPW, and possibly parks and rec,
while Grosse Pointe Park DPW is still using UHF, 423.275.

Currently this system is using a 3600 BAUD control channel and there are
no immediate plans to upgrade to 9600 for the time being.
