[TrunkCom] The Public Safety Wireless Network (PSWN) Program

The Public Safety Wireless Network (PSWN) Program sponsored the
Charleston, South Carolina, Symposium from January 29, 2002, through
January 31, 2002.  The symposium was hosted by the North Carolina State
Highway Patrol and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.  Previously, the
PSWN Program sponsored similar symposiums in Charlotte, North Carolina;
Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Sacramento, California; Boston, Massachusetts;
Chicago, Illinois; Mesa, Arizona; Denver, Colorado; Lansing, Michigan;
Orlando, Florida; St. Louis, Missouri; Honolulu, Hawaii; Boise, Idaho;
Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Las Vegas, Nevada.  The purpose of these
events has been to discuss issues related to public safety wireless
communications and shared radio systems development.
