Actually a very good idea, Joe. I have found some "unused" frequencies on=
some trunked systems do contain simplex communications. If I recall, ther=

is one frequency that was licensed to the City of Houston trunked system
that we never saw active when running Trunker. I listened to it for a lon=

time, and finally caught the city public works guys on it as a "talk
around" channel. Also in Montgomery County, TX there is a frequency
licensed to their EDACS system that never contains any trunked traffic, b=
ut
is used as a conventional channel at the county jail...
