[TrunkCom] digital and subaudible

Arghh... Nothing like confusing the masses with mixed nomenclature. How
about "generations 1, 2, and 3" instead? Even there, the commonly perceived
trunktracker generations are not relevant to the issue. Generally these
refer to the ability to track Motorola, EDACS, and LTR (or "other
improvements" beyond EDACS, I suppose), in that order.

First, 9600 baud voice and data is 4-level data, which to this point no
trunktracker could interpret, therefore no subaudible data could be
retrieved from an ASTRO voice channel. I suppose it possible that one could
have picked off subaudible from an "analog" DVP encrypted channel, as the
encryption probably rides on top of the signalling.

Second, Uniden never did use the subaudible data for TG identification.
Quite sure only the RS Pro-92 and Pro-2067 had this capability. These would
have been considered part of the generations 2 or 3 trunktracking scanners.
