[TrunkCom] Help, I'm so confused

I'm attempting to find out some information on Erickson (sp?) radios for public 
safety use.  I have searched the web without success.  The closest I came to 
was Ericcson telephones.  I ran across EF Johnson, and I've seen the terms 
EDACS and LTR used on these lists.  So the questions.

Is Erickson a company that makes radios for public safety use?  Do they have a 
web site?  Is EF Johnson a player in the public safety market?  Is EDACS a 
system or a product?  Is LTR a system or a product?  If they are systems, who 
makes public safety radios for the systems?

As long as I have been following these lists, I feel like I should know the 
answers, but I don't.  Any pointers or explanations will be appreciated.
