[TrunkCom] Colorado Springs Digital System

I was in Colorado Springs for thier hamfest and there was a ARES meeting.
In front of me was a SAR member with a Motorola HT for the new El Paso
County Trunked 800 digital system.I asked him how he like it. His reply
was "He hated it"
It was a wast of alot of money. The audio was terrible. I guess they had
a forest fire the other day and the sytem didnt work very well. He said
all it did was beep, belch and buzz. They still carry a VHF-hi HT for
thier ops cuase they dont trust the 800 stuff.
