Jeff,

Talking about pagers and mdts and voice all at the same time.  Most of your 
mdts usually have there own freqs which you might not even hear the stream at 
all.  Most depts usually have cells now anyway.  They might have there own 
system set up on another frequency for pagers and probably seperate pager 
numbers.  Point being that the scanner will only pick up the digital 
voice/control stream and nothing else in digital mode.  We might even be able 
to get rid of those annyoing pagers on Med 4 around here in CT.  We'll just 
have to go throught the owners manual to find out.  I suspect you'll have to 
set each ch for digital that needs to be used for digital, just like you 
would on your 780.  E.g. 1-15 for Motorola II and 15-25 conventional FM.
