[TrunkCom] Using the priority feature on a RS scanner

I was wondering if someone could help me with this.  I am trying to see if i
can setup my scanner so when a weather alert comes in (i have the pro 94A
with the SAME alert) it immediately switches to that channel.  I had heard
that i could possibly do this by making the weather channel a priority
channel, but does that mean it needs to be programmed into one of my banks.
Help is appreciated :-)
