Greetings:
I have an MTX-8000 radio that I am using at the City that I work at and they
recently added two more repeaters to the trunked system that are in the
868.XXXX MHz range. Previously they had only 856-860.XXXX MHz repeaters in
the system.
My radio used to work flawlessly on the system until they added these two
new repeaters in the 868.XXXX MHz range, and now I can not receive or
transmit when the rotation takes the traffic to these two new repeaters.
The model number on my radio is as follows:
H01UCH6DB7AN
Is it possible that the radio does not go up to 868.XXXX MHz?! I didn't
think that Motorola would have only made the radio capable to go up to ~861
Mhz?
If it is true, does anybody have any suggestons on how to open the radio up
a little bit more to allow transmission/reception on the system?
Thanks,
Matt
