Delta dropped that a few years ago, and if you read the fine print on the
use of scanners on Delta flights, it did specifically state VHF scanners.
Since most modern scanners also cover UHF frequencies too, one could take
the position that any scanner that covered more than the VHF range
were excluded, and I have a letter from Delta back, maybe 1994 or so, that
states exactly that.
