Another way around the AOL formatting problem is to access AOL via netmail.
Once you log onto AOL, you can open up Netscape or Internet Explorer and
log on to your AOL account via the web page. By accessing your account
this way, your e-mail is sent out as a straight text message. I have done
this when I find myself at work or via a computer at a friends house. Point
your browser to www.aol.com, you will see the box on the page that will
allow you to access your account with whatever screen name you use for
the groups. You can also use your stand alone browser to access the web
sites and bypass the browser that is built into AOL's software.
