Basically: The Control Channel speed and bandwidth of the voice
channels. EDACS Narrow (Commonly used on UHF and 900) uses a 4800
baud control channel data rate and narrower bandwidth on the voice
and data channels while the original EDACS (Usually found on 800)
uses 9600 baud data and a wider bandwidth. The narrow bandwidth
dictates the slower data channel rate on narrow EDACS systems.
