What the heck is a Moto 2670 and IFR 2975? 

In any case, the scanner's audio will do fine on the digital systems.  It
does not have to be perfect as long as we can hear what we have not been
able to hear before.  I'm sure if you put your Astro next to the digital
scanner you will hear a difference, but not enough to try talking people
out of buying the scanner and instead paying $350 more for an Astro.  We
want to listen, not perform system checks.
