Just a sidenote - the Pro 93 is a GRE manufactured scanner not Uniden.
Same for the P2053. Despite some minor flaws, the Pro 93 is a great scanner
IMHO.

1.) I find the sensitivity / selectivity far better than my Uniden scanners
(ie BC235, 760)
2.) text tagging - banks, channels, ID's
3.) mixed multiple trunk / conventional at same time
4.) Control Ch only mode for Mot 800MHz systems
5.) price - been on sale for $170 lately.
6.) freeware availible on the Web that allow upload/download + programming
(NOT the RS sold s/w!)

I don't mean this to knock Uniden either. I have a collection of both as
many on this list.
Both brands have their strengths and weaknesses like all electronic
equipment. Sure the Pro-93 / 2053 won't do all that a BC 780 does, but it
is a nice handheld and does what I need it to do for a lower cost.
