[TrunkCom] Control Channel

I am new to the trunking.  I have loaded my channels.  I have the city in one 
bank and the county in another.  The county bank has the control channels it 
seems.  My question is this, Is it normal for the control channel number to 
always come up?  I mean different freg. are coming up, but it's always on the 
control channel number.  I would like to see the channel number for each 
channel, instead of say, just channel 109 all the time.  Is this normal for 
trunking?
I have two older Shack scanners. This 2053 seems nice.  And am enjoying the 
new one so far.
