Motorola Talk Group I.D. s are based on the number 16; I believe.
Some will only be two digits long, some will be three digits long and so =
on.

Status Bits are the Talk group I.D., based on/divisible by the number 16 =
and the number 1, or the number 2, or the number 3,... added to the Talk =
Group.  Thus the resulting Talk Group or staus Bit is NOT based on/divisibl=
e by 16.

I don't think I have the ability to deal with "status bits" whatever that
may be.
