I know it's not the Longview Fibre system.  That is a Type 1 Motorola system
in the LV Fibre mill in Longview.  The company I used to work for put that
system in and maintained it.  It covers around Longview and Kelso but
doesn't get any further than Kalama .  But obviously whoever licensed those
frequencies for Portland knew that the LV Fibre system woudn't interfere
with their system, and it shouldn't interfere too much with the LV Fibre
system.  I think you are right about the pooling thing though.  I saw one of
the other licensed companies was out of California and  the others were out
of Louisiana.  I found a website recently that sells all the old Nextel
analog system http://ndl-intl.nextel.com/ndc/products.html I wonder if they
got the equipment from here.  Also getting a new talkgroup 002-1 airporter,
taxi, towncar service???  I will have to see if I can get up into the KGON
site and get some more info, I have a feeling that the system resides up
there.  If not there Mt Scott or Goat Mt.  Wherever it is, it's coming in
very strong near Vancouver.  I am picking it up with 96.9% accuracy on the
trunker program, with just a little 800 mag-mount antenna sitting on top of
a metal filing cabinet in my office.
