Combining your questions into one e-mail is a perfectly reasonable 
method of gaining information from the List. A normal such message would 
be perfectly acceptable, but a message that is so lengthy as to be 
objectionable, as you imply, is outside the bounds of proper behavior 
(not just on this list, but anywhere on the 'Net).

I expect that an answer be reasonably amplified (without going 
overboard) so as to give useful information that covers the whys and 
wherefores. If you can't give useful information, please don't answer.

It is not my intention to prohibit the exchange of useful information, 
but a continual back and forth of 20 Questions between two individuals 
is not acceptable.

And a reminder to all: some discussion has recently been deviating from 
the topic of the list. Please be careful.
