It is the provincial police in Ontario that are going to a TRS not the =
RCMP and it will be APCO-25 compliant. Since Ontario covers many sq. =
miles it will be a multi site system.

I ask this because I think that the Canadian AM/FM band will be digital =
just like, here in the states, but I think it will be a little =
different.

So I was wondering if they too have a APCO P-25 Compliant project or =

Police in or near Chatham, ON whether they're municipal or provincial =
would
be somewhere in the 138-142. RCMP would be UHF approx. 420-450. None of =
them
would be Trunked, although the OPP are headed that way now using the =
same
VHF-hi freqs and digital.
