MSRP are never what you pay when buying them from dealers.  If you do pay
it you're crazy.  Every Uniden scanner always has an MSRP that is WAY
higher than what the scanner dealers actually sell them for.

National Electronics is taking orders now with the 250D and 785D for
$339.95 each and the i25D for $289.95.  See:

Other dealers will have similar prices, but NOT the MSRP that you were
quoted.
