[TrunkCom] Computer paging ( MDT )

   When we monitor a system you only hear about 40% of the runs that are 
dispatched. Most of the runs are broadcasted over the computer data frequency 
and set in a run pending box in the cars MDT. When an officer gets done with 
one run he can search though the pending runs on his MDT to find one he wants 
to take. There is a rumor going around in the scanning community that there 
is a digital scanner in the works that can receive MDT signals and store them 
on the front screen on the scanner for you to search through. Sounds 
outlandish, don't it. We all will be amazed at the technology that the 
scanners in the near future will have.
