[TrunkCom] Controlling my 245xlt

Greetings All,
        The ability to control my scanner online has been 
restored.  To do it, you need a little piece of software:

ftp://q2.herzig.net/pub/bc245/listenbeta5.exe

Then, direct the connection to:

todd.getmyip.com

The program should automatically select the default port
of 1025.  If not, you can manually select it.

Use care in controlling my online radio scanner.
Also, be aware that you will not be the only one
listening to it.  Also, get to know how the 'Listen'
client works.  The software will only work with the
BC-245xlt that has been hooked up to the internet.

There are two methods to listen to the stream:

http://todd.getmyip.com:8000/listen.pls

and

http://www.live365.com/stations/274933

(it is recommended to use the Live365.com Repeater.
It can handle so many more listeners)

The online radio scanner can also be used for other uses
by those that connect to it.  You can perform all normal
CONVENTIONAL functions, and switch to other Trunk
Banks, even HOLD my bc-245xlt on a certain Talkgroup.
Even one that it does not normally scan (say 'LO' talkgroups)

But when you are finished, put it back into Trunk Mode for
Bank #1, and set it into the 'SCAN' Mode.
