[Troop139] Important Information Regarding Troop 139 - Please Read - Thank you

My apologies but I’ve been traveling a lot lately due to work and haven’t been able to communicate with you all sooner.  I wanted to provide the following update and gentle reminder:

1.       The weekend long trip to Philadelphia this weekend has been changed to only Saturday.

a.       Unfortunately we weren’t able to get accommodations that were appropriate for our scouts and met our safety requirements. We will still leave on Saturday for a one day trip. Please be at St. John’s parking lot by 6:45 for a 7 am sharp departure.  We will be returning on late Saturday evening around 9-10 pm.

b.      Please bring money if you want a souvenir but the cost of the trip will be covered by the troop.  We have two planned vehicles to take have 9 scouts and 3 adults.  If any late comers wants to come no problem but we’ll need to have a third vehicle.

c.       I’ve attached an rough itinerary of the trip for the troop above.

d.      We need to have the trip approval form signed by parents, please bring them on Saturday morning.  Its attached above.

2.       Thank you to the families that have already paid their annual dues, a gentle reminder to everyone who hasn’t that they are due as soon as possible. If anyone wants to pay it incrementally no problems please let me know.

Subject: IMPORTANT PLS READ - Troop 139 2019 DUES and March Trip - ACTION REQUIRED

Dear Troop 139 Scouts and Parents,

Please read this email as there is very important action required on your part.

1.    2019 DUES – All dues need to be paid for 2019.  Each Scout should bring a check for the annual fee of $150.00 tomorrow night.

2.    March Trip – Troop 139 is going to Philadelphia March 23-24  We tour all the historical sites including the Liberty Bell.  We leave Saturday at 7 am and return Sunday by 5:30.  Each Scout should bring $25 for lunch on Sat and Sun.  The troop will provide breakfast and dinner.   We can accommodate 12 people.  Please respond to this note to confirm your attendance.
