[Troop139] Thank you so very much!

Hi Folks!

I just wanted to take a moment and thank  you all for that humbling and delightful surprise last night.
While the honor was really appreciated, the real honor for me was to serve as the Troop's Scoutmaster for all those years.  While I was supported by the best people that any Scoutmaster could have, the key things to remember are that the young men of our Troop were supported and grew to be fine young men, and that we supported each other in that mission.  We should all take pride in that mission, for that is the purpose that the Holy Spirit has brought us together.

While I have passed the day to day responsibility of the Troop's program to John Racanelli and his staff, please know that I am available to help with Merit Badges, camping trips, Boards of Review and other projects as time allows.  I will continue to let everyone know of things that are going on and available for our young men and for their families, and of course I will drop by when needed.  Frankly, it is hard to not want to be there.  :)

Finally, a note to our young men and their families and friends:

1.      Love one another

2.      Be Prepared to be a Man for Others.
