WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6:00 AM SATURDAY UNTIL 1:00 PM SUNDAY
        
HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE EARLY EVENING BEFORE TAPERING OFF LATE TONIGHT.

DUE TO THE SIGNIFICANT AMOUNT OF SNOW PLEASE URGE YOUR RESIDENTS AND NON ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL TO STAY OFF THE ROADS AND TAKE APPROPRIATE ACTION FOR ABANDONED OR DISABLED VEHICLES. 

THE INCREASED AMOUNT OF VEHICULAR TRAFFIC AROUND THE COUNTY IS MAKING IT INCREASINGLY DIFFICULT FOR SNOW EQUIPMENT TO ADEQUATELY CLEAR THE ROADWAYS.

PLEASE ALSO ADVISE YOUR RESIDENTS TO CLEAR FIRE HYDRANTS THAT ARE ON OR NEAR THEIR PROPERTY.

The operational net for BC-R.A.C.E.S. is conducted promptly at 7:45 pm, on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month, on the W2AKR Primary repeater at frequency 146.790 using PL 141.3 Receive and a minus 600 offset with PL 141.3 to Transmit, with thanks to the Bergen County FM Association (BCFMA).

This is a directed net ONLY for authorized Bergen County RACES members, stations and authorized liaison stations.

Please note, if the 79 repeater is unavailable for any reason, the alternate frequency for this net will be 146.535 simplex with no PL.

In addition, if stations in the north western part of Bergen County are unable to transmit to the W2AKR repeater, try to use the Secondary repeater (K2GCL) at frequency 146.790 using PL 141.3 to Receive and a minus 600 offset, with PL 162.2 to Transmit.
