John,
I was remiss in not chatting more with individuals during that presentation.  I thought that was you, but  as you alluded, there was a lot of information to convey in a very short period of time on Tuesday evening.

Eric was a fine Scout and clearly has become quite the young man, husband and dad.  Please pass along my best regards!  I am deeply touched by your note about how his spin bucket went with him to each Army post where he served.  It is understandable and probably a good thing that it didn't go to Iraq with him, but I am happy to hear that he is now home and safe.

Please thank him for his service to our country.  It seems that many of our Scouts serve in the Armed Forces and do so with competence and pride, which we should all hold dear.

Did a great job in a short span of time. You mentioned scouting and Bergenfield and next morning it hit me: Our son Eric from North Haledon went to the Jamorbee at FT AP Hill with you 10 or 12 years ago.

Eric graduated from West Point in 2008, served on active duty for 6 years, was recruited and worked for Goldman Sachs in Jersey City for a year and last month left to work for a $22 BN private equity firm in NYC. He is married with a baby girl. He may still have his white plastic bucket from the trip---it moved with him to very post he went too but Iraq. Regards, John KB2LNO
