It is time again to start planning your unit’s summer camp adventures, and I would like to introduce (or re-introduce as the case may be) you to our exciting Adirondack Trek program. Floodwood Mountain Scout Reservation has been “the” ultimate site for High Adventure for over fifty years. Floodwood is located near Saranac Lake, NY, and about an hour west of Lake Placid in the heart of the Adirondacks.

Choose either a canoe trek from our base on Rollins Pond, or a back- packing trek in the High Peaks. Accompanying your unit for your trek will be one of our experienced Voyageurs, a trained wilderness guide. While customized canoe and backpacking treks are the mainstay of Floodwood, we offer first-class Waterskiing, Rock Climbing, and Rappelling, as well as many day and overnight hikes and paddles. Please let us know if your unit would like to request a camp presentation for your Scouts & Leaders.
