[Troop139] Hope to see u all this afternoon

Hello All,

I would like to give special thanks to the scouts and parents that
helped last night and today. The band members and so many other people
who attended today were so impressed by each of you. You are
absolutely incredible and this truly spectacular event would not have
come to fruition without the Troop 139 Parents and the Scouts that
helped.

It was so fun to be able to share such an event with the scouts, AJ
joined in and played his Tuba with the band and Kofi, Kojo and Sergio
assisted as cantors during the Christmas sing-along. The other scouts
that came to help last night and today (John, Brian, Brandon, Victor,
Giancarlo, Cesar, Christian, Joe, Ed, Sam, Reinier) and of course the
adults (Mr. & Mrs. Daly, Mr. & Mrs. Racanelli, Mr. Carlos, Mr. Elder,
Mr. Arugeta, Mrs. Joseph and Peter) were equally amazing. A quick
thank you to the scout sisters, Anne, Katie and Steph for helping too.
:)  I hope that I have not forgotten anyone.

Today, after a long morning of running around for Sam's Eagle project,
the scouts and the adults came in and did their thing. Scouts were
assisting with vendors, helping people, passing out programs, moving
chairs and tables and running raffle prizes. The kitchen ran smooth
and like clockwork with the most amazing chefs in the NNJC. :) Thanks
to Judy for doing the shopping and prepping the food.

So that you know your efforts were not wasted, this event brought in
quite a bit of donated food for the pantries and also $700 that will
be turned into supermarket gift cards and then given to the St. John's
and Bergenfield's (via Sam's Eagle Project) food pantries.

I have also been asked to extend a huge thanks from the Tri Valley
Brass people. As a thank you for co-hosting this event, the Tri Valley
Brass gave Troop 139 a donation toward a Troop summer campership.

I hope that if we are able to do this type of event again, we will be
able to have even more of our Troop 139 Family and Friends attend. It
would help make it even more special.
